Our Social Inclusion space - the third quarter of our gallery floorpan (our namesake). This gallery is permanently available to emerging artists and artists from the margins free of hire-cost. 

Each exhibition programmed in the Cobalt Gallery coincides with the opening events of the Ochre Gallery, connecting artists from the margins with experienced practicing artists in a public, professional setting.  

Our professional exhibition space available to all emerging, mid career and established artists to apply. We invite solo, dual and group exhibitions, and extend the space to guest curators. 

Each exhibition programmed in the Ochre Gallery dictates our Cobalt Gallery and public program.

The Third Quarter proudly boasts a boutique bar that partners with Australia’s most progressive and socially conscious wine makers, brewers and distillers. 

You’ll see us featuring wines by other social enterprises – young guns in the industry who are smashing conventions the field. We also connect with brands who recognise the value of the artist, using the label to showcase the work of some of Australia’s best creatives.

Our beers are locally brewed right here in Brisbane, and if they have to travel across an Australian border they’ll tick three boxes – naturally brewed, preservative free and vegan.

Our store philosophy places strong emphasis on sustainable, local, hand-crafted products with exceptional design – clear pioneers in their field.

Many of the products on our shelves are by previous exhibiting artists and other social enterprises.

The courtyard is our outdoor sanctuary – a place to enjoy your wine and escape the crowds at openings, or immerse yourself into one at our many regular events. We host high quality markets, private outdoor functions and industry jams, all connecting back to our core program here at the gallery.
