What does it cost to visit the gallery?

Nothing! We are always free entry unless advertised under a ticketed event.

Can I bring food and drink into the gallery?

Yes, just be mindful. We open up our courtyard to our neighbouring cafe Scout on the weekends, and we often have people wander through with their takeaway coffees. If you're intending to hang out with us, let us know and we can give you a re-usable coffee mug and a discount on your coffee next door.

Is the gallery pram and wheelchair accessible?

Yes, and we also have a disabled toilet.

Is it okay to take photos and videos at The Third Quarter?

Absolutely! When photographing artworks, please do so without flash.

When sharing photos and videos online, please tag @the.third.quarter #thethirdquarter and our artists. Promotion is groovy when it can support everyone!

Is The Third Quarter currently accepting exhibition proposals?

We are always accepting proposals for both our Ochre and Cobalt galleries, and invite you to submit your proposal in the form of a PDF via email. Please include your artist name and bio, exhibition title and description, CV, image examples of your artwork and a brief description of how you intend to use the space.

Is the venue available for hire for workshops / private functions / events?

Yes, absolutely! We're big on supporting our community as a venue, so get in touch. There are many hours during the week that we're not open to the public. Email us with what you're thinking, and we'll do everything to make it work within our existing events calendar

Are you a licensed venue?

We are licensed within the gallery, serving drinks from behind our boutique bar, and this extends in our courtyard only. This means no BYO, and smoking is only permitted on the footpath. Read more about our spaces.

Is there parking available nearby?

Parking is available on Petrie Terrace, and the surrounding streets with both 2 and 4hr limits.

We are part of the Lang Park Parking Zone, which means that when Suncorp Stadium is hosting games the parking becomes restricted to 15 minutes nearby.

Due to these parking restrictions in the area, public transport is recommended as the best way to get here when there are events on at the stadium. For information about their events calendar and public transport, visit the Suncorp Stadium and Translink websites.

How can I stay up to date with what's happening at The Third Quarter?

Best way to stay connected is to sign up to our fortnightly newsletter, follow us on Instagram and Facebook, and browse our events calendar.
