'Tree Portrait | Burnt not ____' by Tim Cornish
40.64 x 50.8 cm, Photographic print on cotton rag paper with archival inks
From the Artist
“In late November pockets of the Bundjalung National Park in Northern NSW burned along with vast areas of Australia’s east coast. Venturing off the road and into the bush one month on was stirring to the senses. The series of photos Bundjalung|Burnt capture the visceral beauty which is the regeneration of new life, contrasted against the patchwork of hues left behind from the scorching and scarring of the recent bushfires.”
